NexStar DS supports USB2.0 OTG function, so you can plug your USB2.0 device(e.g. Camera, Enclosure, Card reader, etc.) into it and backup it up straight away, without requiring another computer.
NexStar DS can optionally protect important and sensitive corporate data with 64-bit, unique key controlled, real-time encryption, all at USB 2.0 speed of 480Mbps, With the 64-bit hardware encryption, data is protected even if the entire drive is lost, because none can access your files without the unique secure key, ensuring that only the authorized user can view the confidential data.
